Pacific: First year of college in pictures

These are some pictures that capture some of my memories from freshman year of college!

I don't think I'll ever get tired of how photogenic the campus is.

Found the perfect sunset spot!

My friend Latimer had to restring his guitar so I took this opportunity and...

During December, our school set up Christmas lights!

One of my first times building a gingerbread house with my friends.

I made these for my friends for Christmas! They're glass hearts (bought from Michael's) filled with paper stars. Making those stars was a lot of worth but I'm happy with how they turned out.

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that plum blossoms bloom on campus during February.

I took a photography class for the first time to brush up on some basics. One of the assignments was to capture a social, political, or environmental issue, so I took photos of an on-campus protest.

A picture my friend Lawrence took after we helped him with a photoshoot. This was one the days I realized how much I truly love photography and working with other creatives to make something great!

Pictures may be worth about a thousand words but there are so many things that pictures can't describe, either. My first year of college was a period of immense growth.

There were good times and good friends, and then there were some not-so-great times. Lots of events occurred, but above all, I learned that everything in life is a learning experience. All bad things turn out to be good ones because you learn, and that's something that can never be taken away.

College changes people, and I know it's changing me for the better. I can't wait for the future!
